2.1.54 dcache patches

The following patches were applied:
/usr/src/linux/inode_54-patch
/usr/src/linux/mid_54-patch

The following script is running:
date
vmstat
while ls -R / >/dev/null ; do sleep 0 ; done &
cd /usr/src/linux
while date ; vmstat; make clean ; do make zImage ; vmstat ; date ; done

This has been running for 7 hours now. Memory seems stabilized at:

There are hundreds, perhaps thousands of "got one" messages, but all
seems well so far!

I will run this all night!
