I think that it is not HW fault. Just check your config.

BUT: Some amd k6 (well, most) have hw bug (being investigated) which
makes them unreliable with 64meg of ram. Bug is pretty rare (8 errors
/ night, undre full load), unless you do special tricks to make it
occur more often. Still, I would recommend you to run with mem=32M
unless you know that you do not have bug or until we find a
workaround.
