Hi all. I'm having problems with the aic7xxx code in this patch. I'm
assuming there isn't much/any difference between the July27 aic7xxx code,
and Linus' pre-3 patch.

The code is having problems with an older drive I have on my 2940UW:

scsi0 : Adaptec AHA274x/284x/294x (EISA/VLB/PCI-Fast SCSI) 4.1/3.2
scsi : 1 host.
scsi0: Scanning channel A for devices.
scsi0 channel 0 : resetting for second half of retries.
SCSI bus is being reset for host 0 channel 0.
(scsi0:-1:0) Reset device, active_scb 0
scsi0: Resetting current channel A
scsi0: Channel reset, sequencer restarted

It never finds my Micropolis drive. Its a pretty old drive, and is
attached to the scsi-2 connector on the drive. There is a Seagate on the
wide-scsi connector. There are no external drives. Information from
booting stock 2.0.30:

Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 00 Lun: 00
Vendor: MICROP Model: 4110-09NB_Nov18b Rev: TN0F
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02

I've tried tagged queuing and page enable both enabled and disabled, with
same results. commands per lun was set to 8, and relay delay was left at
15.

I actually thought the July27 code worked. If there is a difference, I
can round up that code again, and try that if necessary. Anything else I
can do?

Thanks,
