I currently try to compile 2.1.47. I was bit by errors complaining about
f_inode. If I got things right, f_inode was replaced by f_dentry->d_inode.
So I did a
perl -p -e 's/\bf_inode\b/f_dentry->d_inode/g' \
`find -name '*.[ch]' -print`
to get things settled. I do not know mutch about the changes in the inode
structure, so I am wondering whether I will blow up my computer running
a such modified kernel. Any help greatly appreciated
