Writing Device Drivers....

Greetings to all Linux hackers,
I am a final year comp. engg student from India.I just started
kernel hacking very recently.I was thinking of writing device drivers for
Linux.Problem is of the lack of local help.
Will anybody help me and my friends by e-mail?
