Sound AD1816 Chip

I was wondering if anyone has had any success getting a soundcard with an
ad1816 chip on it to work. This chip claims to be a Windows Sound System
/ Sound Blaster Pro chip. It sorta works as an sbpro (only 8bit) and it
gives warnings about only partial support. It would be much nicer if it
would work as a WSS card though as it supports full duplex 16bit 48khz
audio. This is a Plug & Play card, though it initializes very easily with
isapnptools.

Any ideas?
