I get the same thing with a Panasonic LK-MC686BP Atapi CD-Rom (detected
as a CR-585). Kernel and hdparm report BuffSize=0kB while the specs
say it has 128kB cache. Works fine, in any case, I get over 1.5MB/s
transfers (non-cached).
