The only fully released Linux distribution for SPARC is Redhat 4.x. The
RedHat manual has instructions on how to setup the SPARC to network boot
off of another machine using TFTP. (Debian/SPARC is still in its
preliminary stages a.k.a. parts of it work but it has a ways to go)

You may also want to join sparclinux@vger.rutgers.edu (plus
sparc-list@redhat.com or debain-sparc@lists.debian.org) to reach all of
the people who actually run SPARCs themsevles. This list is for more
general kernel issues.
