I did a search of the web and found OPTi's web page. I now have complete
documentation for the OPTi 82C611A IDE chip set on VLB and if needed I can get
complete documentation for the OPTi 82C621 IDE chip sets also. Would someone
consider writing a driver for this chip set? I am willing to get involved
and help as much as I can but I have no previous experience writing drivers.
I do have some C programming experience and I consider writing such a driver
a worthwhile goal. Please let me know if you're interested.
