PC Wan router mentioned in kernel help in 2.1.4x kernels

Hi there... In kernel 2.1.43 that I have on one of our servers, there is
help under the X25 options that refers to a PC Wan Card. Does anyone have
any idea as to exactly what support linux offers for such a card in
current kernels, and who manufactures such a card.
