I just downloaded pre 2.1.45-5 and will re-do my patches for it this
afternoon. Will report back soon ...

Also, before the official 2.1.45 I have a couple of non-inode related
patches I'd like to get into the works. I've done some cleanup on
fs/buffer.c and have a few other odds-and-ends.
