This week I have switched to kernel 2.1.43 and pppd 2.3.0, but since then
masquarading is not working! (During upgrade, I have renewed binutils,
net-tools, and sh-utils.).
I have made the necessary changes in the kernel config, and compiled
many-many times, by changing the parameters, bu no success. I have
upgraded to pppd 2.3 since I want demand dialing..(box can dial the server
normally, and get connected)
Also I have noteced that although, I issue the command
/sbin/ifconfig lo 127.0.0.1
/sbin/route add -net 127.0.0.0 netmask 255.0.0.0 lo
I cant see any route in netstat -nr, related to lo ..(may be not related
to the problem)
Do you have any idea ? What might be the reasons ?
