If you ask for parity now days you get what is called bogus parity. You
have to ask for real parity to get what you want. Many motherboards don't
support parity and many of those that do don't work. You can't assume
these days that because you paid for parity and enabled it in the bios
that it is going to actually work. Sad state of affairs.
