I am testing 2.1.42 on an old i386/16MB, 3Com509B, and i can reproduce
IP queue_glue errors with the following shell commands.
I read that DaveM was interested in cat /proc/slabinfo.
The kernel gives:
IP: queue_glue: no memory for gluing queue c0a503e0
shortly after several large ping packets are transmitted.
After this aggressive pinging, there is NO response at all to
packets above some size. The maximum size the kernel
is able to respond to a ping -f is somewhere between 4096 and 8192.
I don't mean dropping packets. A ping -f -s 8192 from my Pentium
won't get anything back after some time.
