I don't have Windows, and expect it would be a chore to get it to run
shell scripts usefully. I value little the opinion of anyone who thinks
all users of Linux are alike. However, if such a person decided we can
cause trouble, perhaps he would use caution in, say, spamming us.

I had written to abuse@agis.net asking politely to be removed from Cyber
Promotions' lists, but only got the automated response. I asked rudely,
and got the same automated response. I asked my ISP to refuse mail from
ispam.net, but got no answer. Procmail is not installed there, and their
compiler doesn't work properly either. I'll probably have my mail
forwarded to another account where procmail is available. In the
meantime, I like to believe that some of the thousands of messages I've
sent back to them caused someone to pause for a moment and question what
they're doing. If you have a civilized approach which you find effective,
more power to you. If everyone were as civilized as you, AGIS and
cyberpromo would be running all their machines continuously until everyone
on the Net refused traffic from them and they found it unprofitable to do
business.
