All,

I have experienced a lockup after 1 1/2 days of uptime.
No consoles, no response anywhere. Absolutely, no messages in any
logs......

But, I have been getting the following message that occurs. I don't know
how it is related, but it is all I have:

18669 May 18 01:10:42 napalm kernel: sending pkt_too_big to self
18670 May 18 01:11:22 napalm last message repeated 13 times
18671 May 18 01:12:08 napalm last message repeated 5 times
18672 May 18 01:13:10 napalm last message repeated 4 times
18673 May 18 01:14:06 napalm last message repeated 3 times
18674 May 18 01:15:10 napalm last message repeated 2 times
18675 May 18 01:16:06 napalm last message repeated 5 times
and on, and on.....

I will conduct any tests that you'd like.

System Highlights:

Non_SMP enabled system (commented SMP=1 out!)
Buslogic 958 Controller
Tulip (dc21x41) ether card
parallel support of lp and ppa drivers

Thanks,

Troy Muller
