Last night I was acessing this machine ( Slackware 3.2 - kernel 2.0.29 )
from home using ppp for 4 hours.
I was connected from 23:40 to 03:40 (today), but last informs something like
23:40 - 23:40 (00:00)
03:40 - 03:40 (00:00)
The stranger is: all logs inform that the machine rebooted at 02:30. But
I was modem-connected in this time ! Worse: this machine had really rebooted
( I had some problems with it ), but I don't know at what time.
Syslog has lots of messages like:
May 15 01:31:30 ns pppd[4145]: demuxprotrej: Unrecognized Protocol-Reject for protocol 0x7
Any suggestions on what could do it ? Just syslogd ?
