Joliet FS for CD-ROM's

I was curious if support for Microsoft's Joliet CD-ROM filesystem
was planned on being worked into the 2.1.x development kernels. I have
found a kernel patch which accomplishes this task, but I would find it
much more conventient, and I'm sure many other users would too, if this
filesystem got native support in the kernel without a patch.
