What I wanted to say about my group problem:
It looks like the mentioned patch doesn't work on the sparc. A kernel
with this patch crashed at boot time.
Could it be that because of the changed type of groups[] in task_struct
the following struct elements (some pointers, which should be aligned on
32bit boundary, I think) are moved to a wrong offset?
Could someone with more kernel knowledge dig into this?
I really would like to have my groups working! Now I have to type the
root password too often ...
