SCSI disk devices

Hi!

While attaching disks to my site today I found out that I may run out of
SCSI devices (well, I can for some time keep some disks attached to other
machines, but not for ever). I guess 16 SCSI disks is to few for a large
server. Now, is the correct solution a fast transition to 16bit minor
numbers, or can we allocate one more major for SCSI disks?
At the moment I have disks /dev/sda through /dev/sdo, but there are some
other disks waiting to be attached...
