filenames on a vfat partition

Hallo,

last week I sent a related message to this mailing list. Unfortunately
I didn't get any response/comment on it, so I'd like to ask again.

Is it possible to disable case dependent filenames on a vfat partition?
This is necessary because Win95 creates files mostly with a leading
uppercase char in their name or even with mixed case filenames (if the
application requires that).

I need to use long filenames, so I can't mount the partition as 'msdos'.

I think other users could have similar problems, so this may be a feature
for the next patch.

Thank you,

Ulf
