IMO:
information from this strace was used to engineer a breakin
into my computer.
IMHO:
strace should not provide a graphic description of the security of
the files accessed by "stat".
the alternative is to manually edit the strace output since
verbose is sometimes necessary to get the goods. this sometimes
leads to deletion of material facts.
