Sorry to post this to the list, to all you great Linux masters :) but...

If you have upgraded to the latest binutils (v2.7.0.9) then you MUST
remove encaps. Simply do a

rm `which encaps`

to get rid of the binary. The Makefiles will automatically readjust the
build method when they see that encaps is gone. And the error will be no
more. BTW, this has been posted on SEVERAL times before.
