Output at bootup

There are people who want to see a great graphic at bootup (I think
this isn't necessary, win95 does it only to hide errors ;) and on the
other hand there are people who want a nicer bootup-screen, where you can
find interesting things faster. In my opinion we should have a
standardized bootup-output, which could easily parsed by a program. So we
could start graphics in the first startup-script (this doesn't need
kernel-support and is early enough), run a program which parses the
boot-messages and shows a very nice output with mouse-support. The real
hackers are able to disable such a program and there is no kernel-bloat.
