Kbd driver problem

hello,
I am not sure if you are the right person, if not sorry please forward this
message to a better address.

I am using the linux 2.0.29 distribution and had attached a german-dec
keyboard. everything seems to work beside that one key is missing.
Its not a problem of the map ! i have used showkey to scan the keycodes
and found that the code isnt generated in linux. I have no idea where
inside the driver the key is filtered. if someone has to tool to read the
real kbd-output i am willing to help so much i can.
