Ok, I've made 2.1.28 available, and it contains the really ugly fix
(don't look too closely, you'll go blind). Don't worry, there _is_ a
non-ugly fix, but that one is going to take more time and work. This
one is an interim fix that is there mainly to get people going (and for
me to verify that yes it did fix that particular problem).
Now, 2.1.28 fixes things for me, but you may be seeing a different
problem that just happens to have similar end results. I'd be interested
in hearing whether this fixes your problem too..
