Traceroute

I thought that this has already been discovered. Maybe not. Traceroute
does not work on 2.1.27. I wondered if there is a patch yet available.
It looks as though only one raw socket is allowed now. Don't know why.
Also don't know why traceroute needs more than one raw socket. Is someone
working on this?

Is this a kernel problem or is it a traceroute problem? If nobody is
working on this, I should maybe hack traceroute.

BTW my SMP machine has now been up for 4 days without any problems. Looks
as though the races were fixed.
