Are there any reported problems with redhat 4.0 and kernel 2.0.18? I am
receiving the following messages to /var/log/messages when doing heavy
disk activity:

kernel: EXT2-fs error (device 08:11): ext2_read_inode: bad inode number: 0

This box contains:

1 IDE 630
2 SCSI 2.1 gig
1 aha2940
1 aha1510 with jaz connected
32 megs
P120
No network card.
PCI video

I don't think there is an irq or otherwise problem at this time. Will an
upgrade to current kernel resolve this problem? The drives function fine
otherwise, and this error only occurs seldomly.

Thanks for any info,
