PCI under 1.2.x ?

We currently produce a device driver for the 1.2.x and 2.0.x kernels
which supports several of our asynchronous boards here at Digi. Recently
we added support for our line of PCI cards though this support only
extended to the 2.0.x kernel. Since we have many customers still using
the older kernels (1.2.x) we would like to make the driver also support
PCI under these older kernels.

Currently we use the 'vremap' command (Or 'ioremap' in 2.1.x) to map in
high memory addresses such as those typically read from PCI base address
registers. Unfortunetly, I do not know the name of the corresponding
function in the 1.2.x kernel (If there is such a thing). Sooooo two
questions......

If it exist, what is the function called ?
Do you know what header files are required ?

Also (So it's 3 questions :-) ), are there any other gotchas to
supporting PCI under 1.2.x ?

Thanks for any help !!!
