It depends on your setup.

Do you use net aliases on this ethernet? If you do you will have to suffer.
net_aliases are broken in 2.0.

If you do not, please send me more detailed configuration of your host
(ifconfig, cat /proc/net/arp, cat /proc/net/route, cat /proc/net/rt_cache).
