Well - I for one cannot stand the windows 3.1/95 interface and would
throw out the window any operating system that attempted to force me to
use it! I like X (with your flavour of wm). That aside ...

Unfortunately, 90% of windows applications use some of the 10% of calls
that are not covered. What is the problem with these? Wine has been at
the slightly better than useless stage for a long while because of this
and hasn't moved.
