modules & 2.1.19

I can build and execute 2.1.19, but fail to load any modules with
modutils-961226 I get lots of missing symbols. I built the insmod with
linux pointing at the right place & it seems that the unistd.h patch is
already applied in 2.1.19; the new insmod seems to disallow a.out, but
is still larger than the old and as for kernel bloat I seem to have an
extra 35kB with 2.1.19 over 2.0.27. This is getting serious when rescue
disks are considered.
