I've also gotten sporadic errors with gcc and compiles on a P120. It just seems
to quit. I've also had the problem the last few days of rpc.nfsd quitting on
the same machine, for no particular reason (twice so far). I was using gcc
2.7.2.1 on this machine, and a recent rpc.nfsd (at least as recent as
Rembrandt). At some point I'll take the machine to RH 4.0, but now it seems
that this might not just be me... I am using libc 5.4.7 and the kernel running
is 2.0.25... I just did a script of 6 kernel compiles yesterday and none
completed :-(
(no probs on a Dual PPro running parallel makes though :-)
