Apache dying problem

I saw some postings to this list regarding dying Apache 1.1.1 servers
under 2.0.24. You who have had these problem, for how long has the httpd
been running? I have run this configuration on a machine that only is
switched on for short periods of time, so I haven't been able to test the
behaviour, but have had it running for about 3 hours, not with any
constant load, but sometimes with 13 hits/second. It has never died.
