I recently got the latest sounddrivers for the 2.1.5 kernel. I got them to
compile correctly and when i boot the machine the card gets initialised
correctly however /dev/audio and /dev/dsp don't work.
It says something like "cannot allocate DMA buffer", out of memory when
doing a "cat soundfile.au > /dev/audio". Out of memory is not likely since
i have 48Megs. The old drivers work fine (2.1.3 kernel)
The sound card is a SoundBlaster AWE 32. Is anyone have the same problem
(with the same or a different card).????
Thanks in advance,
Sven Eric
