Linux does not see my 32 Meg RAM

Just installed 2.0.23 on a new Compaq Armada 4120 laptop.

Machine has 32 meg RAM but poor Linux for some reason
thinks that there is only 16 MB.

And NO I did not chose that one option when compiling the kernel.

Windoze 95 instead sees it all right.
