Umm... can we hold off on the patch for a bit? It's based on off of a
development serial.c patches that I had sent Ulrich. Also, calling do
gettimeoffset() in the middle of several loops of serial driver code is
a really, really, bad idea. Let me have a chance to work on it a bit.
Sorry, Ulrich, for not getting back to you right away, but I've been
busy enough that occasionally my response time will be measured in days,
not hours.....
