In case someone else hasn't got this yet: 2.1.5 fixes the problems with ppp.c,
but does lots of funky things: modules don't work, and I get an error message
at bootup that reports that "/bin/uname" fails.

It seems to run OK, minus the modules, but since I'm a heavy module user I'm
back to 2.1.4.
