VGA blanker patch

Hi guys.

The attached short patch changes the screen blanker for VGA-alike consoles
slightly. This makes hiding the cursor work on my Hercules mono card;
previously it just moved the cursor to the top left corner and left it
there, which was irritating. It doesn't seem to do any harm on my SVGA
card either, but other people should probably check it out. Assuming no
cards are broken by this, I think it would be a good idea to incorporate
it into the standard kernel.
