Just tried compiling the 2.0.19 kernel.... with sbpcd, floppy, loop
and rd compiled as modules.
These four modules fail on a depmod -ave:
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.0.19/cdrom/sbpcd.o
up_wakeup
down_failed
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.0.19/block/floppy.o
up_wakeup
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.0.19/block/loop.o
up_wakeup
*** Unresolved symbols in module /lib/modules/2.0.19/block/rd.o
up_wakeup
I've extern'ed them and added them into ksyms.c... and recompiled...
But it didn't work (I probably screwed up - they were in the System.map,
but the depmod still failed :-(
Back to 2.0.18 for a while (at least until 2.0.20 :-)
(I'll try 'em compiled in to the kernel... I'm sure they'll work then :-)
