Huge, but not huge enough. This large number of interrupts comes from a
Cyclades multi-port card. When the system is busy (50 or so PPP
sessions), each Cyclades card can generate around 2000 interrupts per
second...about 20x as many as the timer.
64-bit unsigned ints would be nice.
