I don't write any code for Linux, but I do know you guys work hard to
obtain the respect for the Linux kernel from the industry. So why include
unprofessional verbosity?
Sure, you might want to vent your frustrations out by showing fellow
programmers how you felt at that point in the code, and other professional
programmers, like the ones writing Sun code, might include things like
this in their code. But, their code isn't published and spread throughout
the world for others to scrutinize.
