about proxy router

I have created some program that make linux box proxy router
It is available on
ftp://ftp.wfpa.acad.bg/pub/opersys/linux/delian/proxyrouted
Do you think that linux need to have proxy router implementation
in kernel? Proxy router is better than bridge for many thing
