Does anybody have experiences (good or bad) with latest sound driver beta
version (see http://personal.eunet.fi/pp/voxware)?
This version has improved handling of "performance problem" situations
which seem to cause problems with Linux 2.0.0. Since the SB driver has
been rewritten, I have not dared to give this version to Linus yet. In
case there are no major problems it could be possible to include it into
Linux 2.0.1.
Could you try this version and report your experiences to me ASAP. I'm
particularily interested about experiences with older 8 bit soundblasters
(SB1.x, SB2.x and SB Pro).
