Once again, I will remind everyone that only citizens of the united
states may retrieve the DES/IDEA patches as they contain encryption
routines that violate my Wonderful Country's Munitions Export Law.

The reason why I let Werner take over maintenance of the loop filesystem
was because he was in Switzerland; hence he could add the encryption
hooks without worrying about the U.S. export problem. I thought he had
already done the DES encryption with the loop device, actually....

But that's OK, you see, because the U.S. Goverment believes that only
people in the U.S. knows how to program. So, Werner couldn't possibly
have added the DES code, since he's from Switzerland. Those of us in
the Linux community knows different; that in fact people outside the
U.S. can really program. Take a certain hacker from Helsinki, for
example....
