_something_ is wrong in 1.3.87

Something strange is wrong with 1.3.87. I use a Sun3 as an Xterminal on my
linux box, which has worked for a long time. With 1.3.87 strange things happen
to windows. Once or twice I have had them vanish without warning, twice I have
had a window 'lock up'; attempts to kill the window failed, and there didn't
seem to be a process attatched to it anymore. Maybe hanging tcp connections or
something?
The ppp interactive performance to solaris boxes has improved - if I use some
typeahead I don't get long delays before it gives me my characters back.
However I think there are still some extra packets in there when 'moreing'
large files on a 60 line window. I'm afraid I don't have time to test it right
now; besides I see someone has posted a large patch which they claim fixes the
problem.
Roll on 1.3.88!
