I don't know if it's already been included, but if they're going to
upgrade gcc, libc, and ld.so, they'll probably have to recompile make. There
is a version of make (source, of course! :) ) that has the dirent bugfix
already patched.. you should find it at your favourite SunSITE mirror, in
linux/devel/make/make-3.74.patched.tgz. There's prolly a precompiled ELF there
as well.
