I tried running 1.3.86 on my 486DX40 with AHA1542CF using the same
configuration as under 1.3.85. The new kernel failed at boot-time
within the detection of the partitions on my scsi-hd (2 GB Conner):
eth0: NE2000 found at 0x300, using IRQ 3.
Partition check:
sda:
At this point the kernel freezes for ever! Now back on 1.3.85
everything is fine!
