Then I should assume that Microsoft mice too are crap ... oh, well, why
not? :-)
I see this effect almost daily since I first installed Linux (that is a
_lot_ of months ago) here at work (PS/2 mouse).
The effect is perhaps more marked with some kernels and less with others,
but it's still there.
I already changed my mouse twice, and I suspect a buggy controller or
some other hardware problem. My serial mouse at home (yes, Micro$oft too)
works w/o any trouble.
