Upon upgrading the kernel to 1.3.75, I can no longer boot my
system as long as I enable my CD-ROM drive. The bootup messages lock up
the entire system after my Toshiba CD-ROM drive is detected. I can't
even do a ctrl-alt-delete to reboot at this point. The kernel boots just
fine if I disable the 2nd IDE port with the "ide1=noprobe" option. I'll
try to provide as much detail about my system as I can.
